The Camp lies on 17 acres and is at the very heart of the Sanctuary.
Featuring the John James Audubon Lodge, The Camp is where families play together at the pool, on the tennis courts and on the trails that lead in different directions from the John James Audubon Lodge. Highlights of The Lodge include a
kids' room and exercise facilities. A boating center with boats, canoes and kayaks available for residents’ use
is part of The Camp. A full-time activities director
schedules a year-round calendar of events to make creative use of these
first-class facilities.Click here to view The Camp photo gallery.
Continuing the Sanctuary's focus on environmental consciousness, the Lodge has earned Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design (LEED) certification for its green-building techniques. The U.S. Green Building Council established this certification to recognize environmental leadership in the building industry.
