Directions to the Sanctuary
The Sanctuary's sales and information center is nowlocated across the main road in our Chapel Cove community. For detailed directions to the sales and information center from your location, click here.
From I-77
- Take exit 2 to I-485 W.
- On I-485, take exit 4 (Ft. Mill/Hwy. 160).
- Turn west (left) onto Steele Creek Road.
- Travel Steele Creek for one-half mile, and then veer right
onto Shopton Road West.
- Travel Shopton for about three miles.
- Turn left onto Preservation Lane -- the entrance to Chapel Cove.
- The sales center will be on your right on Elkhorn Drive inside the Chapel Cove community.

- Take exit 30A to I-485 S.
- On I-485, take exit 4 (Ft. Mill/Hwy. 160).
- Turn west (right) onto Steele Creek Road.
- Travel Steele Creek for one-half mile, and then veer right

- Travel Shopton for about three miles.
